THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me WILLOUGHBY CURTOIS of "Roanmore" Erskine Street Malvern in the State of Victoria Gentleman.
I give devise and bequeath the whole of my estate real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever unto my trustees and executors hereinafter appointed Upon the Trusts hereinafter declared of and concerning the same namely.
UPON TRUST to hana the undermentioned persons the following articles which I hereby bequeath accordingly -
To my niece Emily Sarah Curtois of Bognor England my pair of silver candlesticks;
to my niece Agnes Barbara Curtois my gold Waltham watch;
to my sister Emily Anne Curtois of London England my silver butter dish and stand;
to my niece Beryl Annie Curtois daughter of my late brother Colonel Atwill Curtois my silver sugar basin with engraved shell crest;
to my niece Anne May Hulme my silver sugar basin with ruby glass bowl.
As to all my furniture and household goods and effects save and except those articles hereinbefore bequeathed UPON TRUST for my wife Mary Ann Curtois absolutely.
As to my residence at Malvern known as "Roanmore" Number 7 Erskine Street UPON TRUST for my said wife for and during her life my trustees paying all rates taxes and other outgoings in respect of the same and Keeping the said residence insured against fire and in good and tenantable repair and I declare that my wife shall be at liberty to occupy the said residence and have the full use and enjoyment thereof or to let the said residence for such period or periods and at such rental as she shall think fit And I further declare that from and after the death of my said wife my said residence shall fall into and become part of my residuary estate.
5. As to all other my estate both real and personal upon TRUST as soon as conveniently may be after my death to collect call in and convert the same into money and after payment thereout of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses including all probate and estate duty which may be payable in respect of my estate to hold the proceeds Upon the Trusts following namely - To pay the following pecuniary legacies which I hereby bequeath accordingly :-
(a) To my said wife the sum of One thousand pounds;
to my sister Emily Anne Curtois the sum of Five hundred pounds.
(b) To my friends Helen Sophia Pinniger, Mary Maud Pinniger, Ada White (of Holy Advent Vicarage Malvern) Celeste Beckingsale and Alice Gibson the sum of Fifty pounds each; to Selina Batchelor if in my employ at the time of my death the sum of Fifty pounds.
6. As to the remainder of the said proceeds to invest the same in manner directed by law and to apply the income arising therefrom in the first place in payment or the rates taxes fire insurance repairs and other outgoings in respect of my said residence "Roanmore" and to pay the balance of the said income to my said wife for and during her life.
After the death of my said wife to pay the following legacies namely
(a) To my nieces Anne May Hulme, Emily Sarah Curtois and Agnes Barbara Curtois the sum of Five hundred pounds each;
to my niece Beryl Annie Curtois the sum of Two hundred pounds
to my nephew John Ralph Willoughby Curtois the sum of Two hundred pounds and
to Edith Curtois (widow of my brother Arthur Curtois) my nieces Barbara Curtois, Alexandra Maud Thompson, Norah Willoughby Halls-Dally and my nephew Peregrine Arthur Curtois the sum of one hundred pounds each.
(b) To my wife's nieces Katharine Elizabeth Babington, Beatrice Alice Glascodine and Janet Helen Irvine the sum of One hundred pounds each
To Lulu Wright, Nancy Irvine, Beatrice Louise Glascodine, Alice Janet Glascodine and Helen Delamain Glascodine the sum of Fifty pounds each,
(c) To my friend Blanche Emily Vines the sum of One hundred pounds and to my friend Linda Wills the sum of Fifty pounds.
(d) To the Australian Board of Missions the sum of Five hundred pounds for the benefit of Australian Aborigines and for that purpose only ; to the Bishop of Melbourne's Fund of the Diocese of Melbourne the sum of One hundred pounds; to the Clergy Pensions Augmentation Fund of the Diocese of Melbourne the sum of One hundred pounds; to the Building Fund of the Parish Hall in connection with the Holy Advent Church of England Malvern the sum of One hundred pounds; to the General Funds of the said Holy Advent Church the sum of One hundred pounds; to the Melbourne Hospital, Children's Hospital, Austin Hospital for Incurables, Queen Victoria Hospital, Women's Hospital; Eye and Ear Hospital and the Children's Home Brighton the sum of Twenty five pounds each.
(e) To divide the residue (if any) equally between the said Bishop of Melbourne's Fund and the said Clergy Pensions augmentation Fund.
(f) And I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer for the time being of the respective Institutions Funds or Missions shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my said Trustees.
9. I appoint my said wife Mary Ann Curtois and Herbert Turner of 427 Chancery Lane Melbourne Solicitor trustees and executors of this my will provided always that should either of them predecease me then I appoint The Trustees Executors and Agency Company Limited of 412 Collins Street Melbourne to be an executor

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me MARY ANN CURTOIS of "Roanmore" 7 Erskine Street Malvern in the State of Victoria Widow.
I give devise and bequeath the whole of my estate real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever unto my executors and trustees hereinafter appointed Upon the Trusts hereinafter declared of and concerning, the same namely.
UPON TRUST as soon as conveniently may be after my death to collect call in and convert into money the whole of my said estate and after payment thereout of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses including probate and estate duty to hold the proceeds of such sale calling in and conversion Upon the Trusts following namely.
To pay the following pecuniary legacies which I hereby bequeath accordingly :-
(a) To my nieces Janet Helen Irvine, Beatrice Alice Glascodine and Katherine Elizabeth Babington the sum of Five hundred pounds each.
(b) To my niece Lulu Wright the sum of Two hundred pounds.
(c) To my nephew Charles Henry Babington the sum of One hundred pounds.
(d) To my great nieces Beatrice Louisa Glascodine, Alice Janet Glascodine, Helen Delamain Glascodine and Helen Nancy Irvine the sum of Fifty pounds each.
(e) To my friends Linda Wills, Selina Batchelor, Alice Gibson, Helen Sophia Pinniger and Mary Maud Pinniger the sum of Fifty pounds each.

(a) To the Australian Bourd of Missions of Melbourne to be credited by the said Board to its Endowment Fund the sum of Two hundred pounds.
(b) To Lovell House Governesses' Institute of Cathedral Buildings Melbourne the sum of One hundred pounds.
(c) To the Building Fund of the Holy Advent Parish Hall Malvern the sum of one hundred pounds.
(d) To the Church of England Babies' Home Lower Malvern Road Malvern East the sum of One hundred pounds.
(e) To the Bishop of Melbourne's Fund of the Diocese of Melbourne the sum of One hundred pounds.
(f) To the Church of England Diocesan Mission to the Streets and Lanes of Melbourne the sum of One hundred pounds.
(g) To Reverend R.G. Nichols of St Mark's Church of England, Fitzroy for the purposes of his Radio Service or such other religious purposes as he may think fit the sum of One hundred pounds.
(h) To St Martin and St John's Church of England Home for Boys Canterbury the sum of One hundred pounds.
As to all the rest residue and remainder of my estate (if any) to divide the same equally between the Diocesan Centenary Fund of
the Diocese of Melbourne and the Clergy Pensions Augmentation Fund of the Diocese of Melbourne.
I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of the Funds or Institutions hereinbefore
mentioned shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my executors.
I declare that my said executors shall have power to postpone for such period as they in their discretion shall think fit the collection calling in and conversion of the whole or any part of my estate.
I hereby appoint Herbert Turner of 427 Little Collins Street Melbourne and Edward John Glascodine of Toorak executors and trustees or this my will. And I declare that the said Herbert Turner being a Solicitor shall be entitled to charge and be paid all usual professional charges for all business done by him or his firm in the proving of this my Will and the execution of the trusts hereof.
Lastly hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made I declare this to be my last will and Testament.
