    BERWICK RESIDENTS received with sadness the news of the passing, at the D. and D. Hospital on Saturday last, of Mr. Robert Charles Lewis Pike, of Elgin St., Berwick. Deceased, who was 73 years of age, had been in ill-health for some months. A native of Bristol (Eng.), he was an old and very respected resident of Berwick for many years. His wife pre-deceased him 24 years ago, but two sons, William and Robert, remain to mourn the loss of a devoted father. After a service by the Rev. W. P. Daunt at deceased’s late home, the remains were interred in the family grave in the Berwick Cemetery last Saturday. The pall was carried by Cr. C. Greaves, Messrs. J. Thornbury, F., A. and W. Watson, G. Hudson, S. Pateman, M. Cummins, J. T. Chappie and J. Hope. W. J. Garnar and Son were the funeral directors.6
