  • 12 Oct 1914: A private wire received on Friday conveyed the sad news of the death that morning of Doctor Richard Richards Harvey. No details were given. All that is known is that for several weeks prior to the end Norseman's old friend was in a private hospital. The death of Doctor Harvey leaves this world a poorer place. As a Doctor he was the most tenderhearted, conscientious practitioner that ever lived. As a man he was the most kindly courteous gentleman that ever drew breath.9
