    THE DEATH occurred at her home, “Gaybrook,” Telegraph Rd., Beaconsfield, on August 16th, of Mrs. Jessie Ferguson, wife of Mr. Alexander Mickle Ferguson, and mother of Leslie and Donald Scotland, Linda (Mrs. Bucknell), Vi and Melva. All have the district’s sympathy in their sorrow. Mrs. Ferguson, who was 63, was a well-known Prahran identity who came to live at Beaconsfield five years ago. Her funeral on Thursday was largely attended and there were many beautiful floral tributes. Rev. J. J. W. Scott conducted the service at the Crematorium Chapel and W. J. Garnar and Son attended to the funeral arrangements.8
