  Notice is hereby given, that under and by virtue of certain process issued out of the Supreme Court of the State of Victoria, and directed to the Sheriff requiring him to levy certain moneys of the real and personal estate of G. W. Simmons, of Emerald, farmer, the said Sheriff will, on Tuesday, the 7th day of May, 1912, at the hour of one o'clock in the afternoon, CAUSE TO BE SOLD, at the Police Station, Emerald (unless the said process shall have been previously satisfied or the said Sheriff be otherwise stayed), all the right, title, estate, and interest (if any) of the said G. W. Simmons in and to
  All that piece of land bring part of Crown Allotment One, township of Emerald, parish of Gembrook, county of Mornington, more particularly described in certificate of title, entered in the register-book, volume 3301, folio 609,052.
  Also all that piece of land containing 11 acres 2 roods and 7 perches, or thereabouts, being Crown Allotment 9 and part of Crown Allotment 80, parish of Gembrook, county of Evelyn, more particularly described in certificate of title, entered in the register-book, volume 2893, folio 578,412.
  Also all that piece of land containing 21 acres 3 roods and 33 perches, or thereabouts, being part of Crown Allotment 81, parish of Gembrook, County of Evelyn, more particularly described in certificate of title, entered in the register-book, volume 2819, folio 563,630.
  Also all the estate and interest (if any) of the defendant, G. W. Simmons, under and by virtue of a contract of sale from Simon Paternoster, dated 24th June, 1909, in all those pieces of land, containing 85 acres, 3 roods and 7 perches, being parts of Crown Allotment One, in the parish of Gembrook, county of Mornington, and also land formerly part of a Government road, and being lots 2 and 3, on plan of subdivision, number 5400, lodged in the Office of Titles.

• 13 Jun 1912: SATURDAY, 15th JUNE. At 1 o'clock sharp. Sale of Coffee Palace With Wine Licence, and Farm of 86 acres. EMERALD. In the Insolvent Estate of G. W. Simmons. W S. KEAST, Auctioneers, have been a instructed by the assignee (Mr T. C. Walker, Collins street, Melbourne), in the insolvent estate of G. W. Simmons, to sell by public auction, at the Coffee Palace, Emerald, on the above date, at 1 o'clock sharp,
  All that piece of land, being part of Crown allotment 1, township of Emerald, certificate of title, volume 3301 folio 660.052, having a frontage of 90ft. to the Main street by a depth of 132 feet. On the property is erected a W.B. Coffee Palace, containing 15 rooms and all conveniences; wash house, with copper and troughs, stables, buggy sheds, &c. Water is laid on to the property, being supplied with a well over which has been erected a wind mill, with elevated tanks. This property is bringing in a good rental, situate close to the railway station, and is practically a new building. There is a wine licence for the coffee palace. Emerald township is situated beyond Fern Tree Gully, on the narrow gaugelline, and during recent years has become very popular as a week-end pleasure resort.
