    At the comparatively early age of 45 years, a former resident of Sunshine in Mr. Leslie Ernest James of Pakenham East passed away at Alfred Hospital last week.
    The deceased, came from a family which is well-known, in Sunshine. His brother, Mr. C. James, lives at 12 Kamarooka St., while his father, the late Mr. E. James passed away last year.
    The deceased who was born in England had lived in Victoria for 31 years and was a member of second A.I.F. He leaves a widow and young son to mourn their loss.
    The funeral took place on Monday from Nelson Bros chapel, Footscray, to the place of interment in the Pakenham east Cemetery. There was a large collection of beautiful floral tributes.
    Rev. T. R. Vizard (St. Mark) conducted impressive services at the Chapel and at the graveside. Nelson Bros had charge of funeral arrangements.4
