  • 16 Jul 1887: The sudden death of Mr Henry Hart, bookseller, of High street, St. Kilda, caused considerable surprise to his friends. Mr Hart was returning home on Saturday evening last to Beaconsfield, where he had a farm. After leaving the station he was suddenly prostrated from the effects of heart disease; he was shortly afterwards found lying on the road by some neighbours, who conveyed him home, but before reaching their destination Mr Hart expired. His remains were brought to Melbourne on Monday last, and interred in the St. Kilda Cemetery, in the presence of a numerous assembly of friends. Mr Hart was 55 years of age at the time of his death, and had been a resident of High-street for a number of years.9
